hey thanks everyone for your help and advice i sent it out to nintendo today but i relized its being shipped to a third party company called united radio because its not under any warrenty. will they still run that test you were talking about and um will i still get that phone call because now i don't know what i should say if they call and say that....should i say i am sorry and it will never happen again (as i am only 15 maybe they'll let me off the hook) also i really don't want to ever hack again as i am not willing to risk my wii anymore! so if someone could give me some things i should maybe tell them if they call because they found my hacks that would be great and thanks in advance

I have to agree. The less you say the better. If you start to babble if asked just stop yourself and let them do the talking. Short answers are the best. I very much doubt they will really care it will be 'just another cracked wii'.

United Radio is a Nintendo subcontractor. You must be on the East Coast? Out of warranty repairs on the east coast seem to go there. I don't know if they do test checks, cause when I sent my first repair into them for the Disc Drive I wasn't Homebrewing then. They may or may not be tough on checking since they are just subcontractors for Nintendo and you the consumer is paying for the repair anyway. So as long as they are getting their cut of the profit from Nintendo that's all that matters.

Um the Wii was out of warranty anyway, right? So in the possible scenario if Nintendo does call just tell them you didn't know of the previous history as it was bought second hand from a pawn shop. All you know is that you went to do a disc update and that happened. Ha! Get creative.

Nintendo' most inspired core game titles are stuck overseas. Nintendo Of America sux when it comes to the localization of these game titles as they court with their new found casual gamer/soccer mom audience this console generation. Thus indirectly promoting the growth of Homebrewing & basically telling their core audience if they want it, mod chip or Homebrew it. Thanks Nintendo! My Wii and its functionalities have never felt more complete than when I took my first sip of the Brew. - Brewaholic

My Experience with Unit Radio is this

    Shipped my Wii

Received it at Unit Radio in New York

Threw my system in the bad systems pile

Picked up a system from the working refurb pile

    Shipped it back to me

My original Wii was sent back to me that first time for the Disc Drive repair in New York. It came back with a few light scratches like they had laid the top outer casing on some screws or something. No too noticeable but I noticed them. Then another thought was they somehow got my top outercasing mixed up with another Wii'. I didn't get my original Wii back on the GPU repair that it was sent to Washington for. I wonder where my original Wii is now??

    Hi there..

I sent my Wii to Nintendo in New york It had a Low Level Brick (Deleting ios60patched wad ---- Noob----) System is still under warranty I sent it in on 10/06/09 they got it on 10/12/09 and shipped me a new/refurb one on 10/13/09 and according to UPS I should get it on the 10/19/09. I did not get a phone call and was not charge anything.
The repair shows Nintendo sending a totally different S/N from my original I had one Starting with LU3937 and I was able to install Boot2 only as IOS.. Now I am getting a S/N LU5994 Do you think that one supports Boot2 as Boot2??
