So you've got the bootmii folder with armboot.bin and ppcboot.elf all nicely on your SD card?

What happens to the blue light on the Wii DVD slot when you power up your Wii?

Flashes just once or does it flash twice before the 10 seconds?

It should flash a few times in quick succession if you have bootmii installed. I should make a video of it, it'll be easier to explain visually.

I suspect you don't have bootmii installed as boot2.

Try booting with no SD card inserted. If you see a brief set of flashes from the blue slot LED right after you hit the power button, try a different SD card. Make sure you have a directory named "bootmii" with the "armboot.bin" and "ppcboot.elf" files inside.

If you do not see those flashes, BootMii/boot2 is not installed.

Seems to me that maybe you installed bootmii but your SD card doesn't like it. You probably never made a back up of your NAND because you would remember if you did. I think maybe you ran the bootmii installer. It installed but since the SD card isn't one that bootmii likes it just booted straight into the Wii and you thought it was done. Do you have a bootmii folder in the root of the SD card? If you do then you installed bootmii. Do you have a nand.bin in the root of the card? If you do then you most likely backed up the Wii's NAND.

That didn't happen so does it mean I don't have bootmii?

    Check this video

It's dark and gloomy here in Wales tonight so it's quite dim. You can see how the Wii slot lights up twice in 2 seconds. I have another video that shows when bootmii loads it just flashes the once. How this compares with a non bootmii Wii I don't know.
