Thanks kindly for your reply.
Tried the "New HBC AB" rar and it spun for a few secs then stopped.
Was up all hours last night threading and here's where I'm at.
GC C-clamped so always get the 4.2(JPN) in bottom right corner.
the following disks spin and then stop
AB AnyRegion Changer v1.1bM5 by kitt.iso
WAD-MANAGER-ISO[AUTOBOOT]
syn-backup1.31
UUDv4 gives me an error message after a minute or so, but at least it's different
UUDv2 just tried and spun then stopped

Back up and original Japanese games play - Is this a good sign??
Am then asuming i have the drivekey configured properly and have eliminated that a source of trouble?
Please advise.
Thx in advance

If it boots run "AnyTitle Deleter Mod"
Read the controls at the top of the app- update the database, the export your installed titles. Post the installed titles here.

It would be helpful if you could post a link to the download you extracted to the sd-card

That means that your system ios is not patched with the trucha bug and you can not boot fakesigned disks.
There is hope, but it is a long process and not guaranteed to work.

SDDm(Speed Demon Data management) workaround

I was actually in the process of burning "Zantzue's Anti-brick Disc.rar" but with not much hope of it working, but was running out of autoboot disks to try.
Went to the link for "SDDm(Speed Demon Data management)" workaround and have already saving back game files. Remember seeing this idea somewhere on wiihacks but no one know had gotten to the save the "data management" stage.
One concern is that i dont have the suggest games listed, such as "Rabbids go home" and getting back ups of these will not work for me as my console is Japanese 4.2 and will not currently play non-Japanese games.
Can you suggest any games common games that may work and I may have the Japanese version of it to try.
Much appreciated

I think that filling the nand any way possible will send you to data management. If the wii is online, perhaps a game with DLC. But I don't have any particular advise on what games you could use.

I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks
Addendum
Have password protect wi-fi but this console was never paired up with this network.Do you think if/when i get to the data management window, I will get the option screen to join our wi-fi network?

Once you get to data management, install indiana pwns. I don't know if you can get to the network setings.

There was a list at the bottom of that first post:

Save game Block Usage:
GAMES:
SSBB : 128 blocks ( can do USA and PAL save separate for 256 blocks)
Drawn to life: next chapter : 77 Blocks
Mario Kart : 23 blocks
Guitar Hero world tour : 25 blocks
Pikmin : 31 blocks
Endless Ocean : 34 Blocks
Petz Crazy Monkey : 21 blocks
Quantom of Solace: 97 Blocks
Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquil : 25 blocks
Animal Crossing : City Folk : 36 blocks
MySims Kingdom : 121 blocks
MySims: 97 Blocks
Elebits: 109
Pokemon Battle Revolution: 29 blocks
Call of duty WAW: 63 blocks
Need for speed Nitro: 121 blocks
Wii Ski = 81 blocks
Simcity creator = 127 blocks
Ultimate Alliance 2 =20 blocks
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 : 120+ blocks

CHANNELS:
Rabbids Channel : 77 blocks ( can be installed once then again to cause low space data management workaround)
Mario Kart Channel: 78 Blocks
Internet Channel : 222 Blocks
Wii Fit channel: 120 blocks

My Wii will only autoboot a handful of burned games but no original games. I just burned a Wii Fit that won't autoboot. Do I need to convert the ISO that I ripped before burning it?

The only thing you can do is set the chip to autoboot, and you can try to patch the iso to autoboot with Wii Autoboot Creator.zip

Morning/Evening from Japan,
Was loading Japanese games trying to fill up the NAND and Wii Fit let me into the system if I entered "wrong time" when asked to confirm the date and time. Trying to go back to the system menu from here didn't work for me and I would end up back at the black screen with 4.2J. Finally I went to reset this Wii and BINGO. Back to normal but with all save data files gone. Small price to pay.
For anyone else in the same boat, please note that it took many attempts each time to get the Wif Fit to go to the time and date configuration menu. 9 out of 10 times in rebooted to the black screeen, so do not lose heart and keep entering "wrong time" when asked. Sorry but i am on a Japanese wii cosole so I am guessing at the English option names you will get.
Anyway MANY thanks to Mauifrog for all his/her help!!

I have two Wiis that won't autoboot any discs with the Wasabi Dx. Need for Speed Nitro goes to the white Warning screen before going completely black though on both Wiis. Both Wiis were 3.4u that I upgraded to 4.1u using NSMB. Backups and original games do not boot though. Is there any hope of using an SD card to load any recovery tools? I'm guesing every IOS has been obliterated from these two systems.
