You can use a wode or a sundrive- these will emulate the wii dvd drive.

    Hi,
Am pretty sure this is a banner bricked Japanese console. On start up I get the the health screen and if I push A, it goes black.
USing the GC I get to the black screen with 4.2(JPN) in the bottom right corner. When i loaded either the Wad Manager or Any Region Changer, the disk spins then stops and nothing further happens.
I modded this console for a Japanese family (who are politely unhappy) who are friends of my wife. I left then with an SD card for the father who i set up to play Monster Hunter 3 and told him to take out the SD card when he wasn't playing that game. ( He can't speak English so the SD card was there for Softmill r99 to save the configurations to when he loaded his game.
Anyway, the nightmare happened! He left it in and his Mario Kart playing kids went into Homebrew (SD card also had the WAD folder) and did something.
No idea what the daughter changed and though I told them not leave the SD card in, I know they hold me responsible for "Breaking" their brand new wii. It was the black console with the new D3-2 and I had convinced them to change the DVD drive as they did not want any USB peripherals connected to their wii as they box it after each use.
Please advise as am really stuck here

Did you patch ios70 with the fakesign (trucha) bug?
Try to hold + and - and the health screen, then push A a few time. I doubt this will work, but you never know.
Did you install priiloader for them on the wii?
    Modchip?

What apps are on the sd-card?
What wads are on the sd-card?

    Thanks very much for replying...
Sorry but kinda of a newbie, so heard of patching ios 70 but don't know exactly what it is or the fakesign (trucha) bug is.
Unfortunately no priiloader as only heard of it after ran into this problem.
Tried to get the maintenance screen but to no avail.
APPS / WADS on card - were the basic ones that were on came with the great 4.2 softmod install on wiihacks, USB loader (GX), Neogamma, softmill r99, CIOSBUGFIX55, any title deleter, channel remover and possilby a couple more.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and tried.
Addendum - using a Mac so severely handicapped here with some files, just downloaded "Wii Autoboot Creator.exe" but can't use it on my mac.
    Though "restore" disk i am trying, i have burned with the same Mac software that i use to back up my games and they play fine so i am assuming not using the windows "imageburn" should be a problem with the disks i have tried below;

AB AnyRegion Changer v1.1bM5 by kitt.iso
    WAD-MANAGER-ISO[AUTOBOOT]
    syn-backup1.31

    Thanks in advance

    Forgot to mention,
Have pulled the Drivekey from my console and have configured to to autoboot and blocker off .
Also have completely demolished a GC controller and have all 3 apart in the living room.
Am not getting looks from MY family as to what I've done to our console and controller.
    Cheers

Try to boot New HBC AB.rar
If it boots run "AnyTitle Deleter Mod"
Read the controls at the top of the app- update the database, the export your installed titles. Post the installed titles here.

It would be helpful if you could post a link to the download you extracted to the sd-card
