I properly installed the battery and tested again. NO go.
I tried the uudv2, uudv4, official Nintendo backup disk and Wad Manager Boot disk. No love from any of them... but the Official Nintendo disk did tease me. Of all the disks, it actually spun up and kept spinning... but didn't get me anywhere. I was still stuck on the black screen with 4.1(USA) in the bottom right.
Yes, I know the Nintendo boot disk isn't suppose to work on system menu 4.1. I was desperate.
Maybe I can wait for some game to be released with System Menu 4.2 on it?
Or, I already have the shipping labels from Nintendo.... maybe I should rip my Autoboot configed WiiDriveKey out, slap the Wii back together and keep my fingers crossed that they will fix/replace it under the current RMA/support I already have setup.
Dang. (No Preloader = moronic = me)
