It might do. If you think it's the system menu at fault then perhaps look into Waninkoko's updates to 4.0/4.1 as they will replace the menu you are using now and retain your homebrew. You didn't say what your system menu is at the moment though.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I am 4.0. And I can't do his update cause my Wii can't connect to the internet. (Can't get into settings) unless there is a wad or w/e I can update to 4.1 with...?

Heck, can I even do an official update without internet? Besides using a game.

It'll be a while before a game has 4.1 on the disc.

What kind of brick protection do you have? There are ways to reinstall your system menu without internet but it involves messing with key files and wads.

I already have ios60 patches.... Where would I download said wad?

@Tealc: I'm not too sure... I think I have preloader installed but it boots right to the system menu cause I think I disabled that.

You might want to hold reset when starting your Wii to verify Preloader.

You can grab 4.1 system menu from my mediafire, click my sig. Make sure you get the right region one, I've named them to avoid confusion.

Like I said a few posts up, I already had ios60. And I did the update, I got 4.1, and sure enough I can access my system settings no problem. It also fixed my ability to play burned Wii backups in the DVD drive. And preloader seems to work fine.
