    System Memory Full . . .

Noob mistake(s): Did I brick my Wii? I got this message after pressing "A" in the start up: "Your Wii System Memory is full. Use the Data Management screen to manage your save data."

I have a soft-modded Wii v4.1, using CFG USB Loader on cios 249. I recently followed the tutorials installed Hermes 222/223/224 and cios249/250 (ciosx rev20) in order to play backups of both Def Jam Rapstar and COD: Black Ops.

I got stuck on the COD: Black Ops loading screen ( . . . ) after loading cios to set to 250, and impatiently unplugged the Wii. Upon starting up again, I get the nasty system memory message. I have BootMii installed so I hope I can get this issued resolved. Any help is appreciated.

You need to uninstall a few things from your wii. Remove some wiiware/vc or perhaps some larger savegames. You should try to keep some blocks free on the wii. Does that error not take you to data managment so you can uninstall? You could load HBC via bootmii and then run wadmanger and unistall some wiiware wads.

yes I can uninstall. I deleted several save files already to no avail. I will give it another shot and get back to you. I also tried going into bootmii, and restoring the nand. It looks like I am now on version 4.0.

I just tried to access HBC from Bootmii and I get a blue screen. Did my restore cause this?

Doing the nand restore should have cleared up your nand space.

Thanks mauifrog. I finally deleted enough to make it work. When I ran MMM manager in HBC, I accidentally installed wad channels which totalled 500 blocks of space! Thanks again!
