4.0(KOR)Full brick, able recovery mode I'm modding my Korea Wii
but after I changed Region I forget to save
and I installed 4.0U firmware in... and after restart .... BRICK
I us GC controller and enter to the Recovery Mode
but I wanna ask
How can I create a AutoBoot Disc to go to my Anyregion charger.dol
so I can change my wii region to English, USA, USA
or should I find 4.0K firmware and create a AutoBoot to Wad manager
and install 4.0K firmware
or should i create a autoboot disc to go to Wad Manager and remove my 4.0U firmware?
Now my wii is not modded... but I could get a modded Drive to allow it to read DVD-R disc
But how can I create this autoboot disc? for 4.0(Kor)

From china forum , someone able to solve this problem !
When you turn on the wii, what happens?
What is displayed in the recovery menu?
Did you update the channels to USA, or are there still Korean Channels on the wii?
You won't be able to do anything without a modchip, preconfigured to autoboot disks. But you need a functional recovery menu.
What system menu was the wii on before you updated? Did you just update the system menu, or all ios files?

When turn on wii, TV show funny display( like colour distortion ), Remote no function at all ！
By plug in Savemii , right down show 4.0K !
I try to update wii from Korea 3.5K to 4.0U, unfortunately, i brick my wii without running ARC .
What I did is , already install some ios and CIOS249 rev14, i also install system menu417. wad ( Should run ARC , change region before install SM417! I forget this step)
After install SM417.wad thru CFM, reset Wii , than come out with the funny display !
I install modchip to run those recovery disk , but no luck at all...
My friend told me that , this also happen in other from China , and they manage to solve it ... but no step by step tutorial or discussion on this topic ...
Somemore , i hv another wii with 003 error .... with autoboot function , this wii able to load the Game with only NTSC-U region disk... any ideal to overcome this ....

Try to use New Super Mario Bros NTSC iso patched to autoboot, with update. Try to update from the disk on the 4.0k wii. No real fix for the 003 wii yet.

Myself only have a duplicate copy for this game ... PAL region
If i not mistaken , you suggest to recorver my wii with original game update ? and this New super mario Bros having the update itself ?
