I don't have a dog, will they settle for my brother?

But really, I'm just afraid that I'm gonna get a letter in the mail two months from now with a bill or a legal threat.

Ok so how could they know you did it. It was in Walmarts custody for how long before they even got it back. Seems like a lot of bs to go through just to get to you. Its not illegal to put homebrew on your wii! It just voids your ninty warranty. So you think walmart is gonna sue you? Think you worry too much buddy.

Personally mate i'd fling it back to Walmart, make a big song and dance on how disgusted you are that an item ONLY ONE WEEK OLD has failed on you. You'll get another one
THEN if the nintendo-feds comaknockin you can just say
" I dunno, some geek from Walmart must have messed with it before you got it "

Get it exchanged if you can.

Oh and the reason you bricked it is because you tried to downgrade a LU64+ Wii, something which is highlighted quite strongly in the 3.1-4.1 tutorial.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    But, isn't LU39 less than LU64?

Haha, I was quite confused, but apparently, downgrading still bricked it.

No read the thread again before you comment and look at post #8 where he asks about dvd media.
