I done the same thing, bricked it through Mymenuify.WHAT A SHIT PROG!!!

Well i was lucky,i had preloader and Bootmii installed which allowed me to downgrade from 4.1e to 3.2e.I think the themes from Mymenuify are ment for all firmware's ending in U.what progs do you have installed on your wii?

It might be that they are only for US systems but also make sure you downloaded and installed a theme for the current system menu version you are using. I.E. if you have a 3.2 System Menu don't install a 4.0/4.1 theme to it. This will birck your wii. My friend did this and his wii is currently sitting in New York getting repaired.

I just don't get why people fiddle with their Wii at that level without any kind of brick protection. Mental.

The reason Savemii is unlikely to work is because it requires a system menu to operate, which was removed when you installed a theme. If you can get the little version information appearing at the bottom right opf the screen when you use it then you might have a chance otherwise you have no chance.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

He had brick protection (bootmii as boot2) but he fiddled with it more before i could get to him and he somehow managed to change his sysconf file to a E (PAL) system while his system menu (and system) is a U. I couldn't figure out how to fix it for him when it got to that point and told him to send it off to nintendo and kiss his bootmii as a boot2 goodbye.

Hmm well, they may not agree to the fix as it will be pretty obvious to them that it's modded. They'll know about the bootmii boot2 hack and check for it's presence and charge accordingly. I'd imagine.

In this instance, with bootmii it would often be possible to load a system menu wad to recover the system. I'm not familiar with this sysconf file thing but region bricks have been saved this way. Wonder if theme bricks go the same way.

I actually just got off the phone with nintendo about this system and they are agreeing to fix it and putting a 1 year warranty on it. They asked me if I was trying to modify it through software. I explained to them I didn't know what they were talking about. Apparently they were satisfied with that. However since the system was out of warranty to begin with it cost 75 dollars.

They must be stupid. Maybe they're not bothered about people hacking their software. Still a good result but 75 dollars which needn't have been spent.

It's really not that they are stupid. Im thinking they will agree to fix it for a price and it will surely have the updated boot1 to prevent bootmii installs to the boot2. I guess they figure if you bricked with the bootmii on it you certainly wont try to mod it again when the bootmii wont install.... Just a theory tho
