yeah ive tried nus downloader, if thats what you mean? where you download the systemmenu vblablabla and the iosblablabla. via pc
but it didnt work. STILL RED BRICKED!!! i like that its got a good sound to it. if i got enough of them i could build a house and call it wii towers, sorry there i go off on a daydream again. LOL

what is strange is i have a nand that i either got in a download??? or that i backed up, cant remember! but when i restore wii with it and then load cbbot2 and homebrew beta9 as boot.dol the homebrew installer cant find a system menu.

I think if i understand correctly that my SYSCONF is out of region?

    thanks for your reply

Just a small thought regarding that v290 wad you installed. Do you actually know it was a PAL wad and not some other region, it could explain why your sys conf has gone a little screwy.

It has crossed my mind, after seeing the message from any region or any title changer???

Im going to list my IOS tonight, do you need:-
    example
    16: title=10002-48415941 (system channel 'HAYA')vers:0.3(3):IOS61
or just IOS 61 and if it shows the vers list that as well??

Was thinking IOS61 v4890, IOS60 v6174, that sort of thing.

Been looking into sysconf and how that can be edited but haven't turned anything up yet. I think, from your previous message it might be something to do with that. A conflict of region made worse by tinkering and trying to fix something that wasn't actually broken.

I wonder if it's posssible to dump your sysconf, edit and put it back, or is that what anyregionchanger already does.

there is a program called fix and another called setting replace.
this is the read me from fix below.

    1. Put a setting.txt on the root of your SD card.
    2. Use gc_wadmanager to reinstall your system menu (with GC controls)
    3. Run gc_fix.dol and (use a GC controller) and fix your setting.txt file.
    4. Hopefully you are unbricked.

    Greetings Darkmystery (Jesse)

    Shoutings too:
EVERY GUY THAT HELPED ME OUT IN THE #WIIDEF IRC. Thank you guys.
All code is 99% tona, and 99% waninkoko

    download link:
    http://jessexd.nl/fix.rar

I created a setting.txt on the root of my sdcard using notebook!?? think thats what i was supposed to do.(but i left it empty)???

Im just not sure about the setting.txt bit! ive ran the gcfix.dol and get an error of wrong setting.txt?
    I will investigate this evening.
hopefully it will work as ive read that brick's similar to mine (without the red) have been repaired.
Its amazing what you find when you search/search/search and search somemore! LOL!
IOS on way as soon as typed.
