Strange form of banner brick problem.

It started when I tried to upgrade with a faulty .wad file.

What happens is when I boot up my Wii now it goes straight to the banner brick message, no health warning or press 'A' screen, but what's also really strange is the letters are all only partially visible, to the point where you can't read it. Then when I press any buttons on my wiimotes the letters fill in a little bit more, but not all the way, but enough to be able to read. And I can't get anywhere from there.

I don't have a mod chip or starfall or bootmii installed, but I do have preloader.

Has anyone had this same problem or at least heard of it and know how to fix it?

If you can get to the recovery console (savemiifrii) then consider the modchip, bit pointless otherwise.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I researched that a little bit but don't understand it entirely. You press up + left + down + r1, I know that. What is r1? And also do you start holding it before you turn your wii on or right after or when?

Yeah... I've tried that a ton of times and it's not working for me. From what I understand it's supposed to work if you installed cIOScorp, which I did. So I don't understand what my problem is/what is going on. Haha.

I want my wii back... *crying face*
