Yeh I read all the post. My wii is not flashing anything, just like a 3-4 sec delay on power up to reach to warning screen. The tv flashes two of three times within those 4 second delays but not any of the lights on the wii.

OK so I opened up my GC controller and pressed all directional button, I got the version to display on the screen, but when I pop in the Universal Unbrick Disk v2 DVD, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or missing a step?

again, as Tealc said above, this will ONLY work if you have a modchip or cioscorp installed.

I have CIOS 249 installed. according to the Universal Unbrick Disk v2 instruction, you "only need a modded Original GC Controller and the cIOS249 installed. Thats all."

BTW I downloaded my UUD v2 from here http://muppet-modding.com/forum/wii-...tendo-wii.html.

I'm not sure if this will auto load with CIOS249 or not. The links from the "http://www.ps3news.com/Nintendo-Wii/universal-unbrick-disc-v2-is-now-available-for-nintendo-wii/" does not work. But this one says he "changed the game partition to run with IOS249 and its set to autoboot"

if you haver V2 of the UUD, it should work without modchip or cIOScorp apparently.

    How to Use:

    - Extract and burn the image

    - Turn on Wii and insert disc to auto boot WAD Manager

    - Turn on Rescue Menu and insert disc to auto boot WAD Manager
    Read more: Universal-UnbrickDisc released! - PS3 NEWS - PlayStation 3 News

    UPDATE:
UUD is now on v2 and will work with FW 4.0.Additional you will not need a Modchip, cIOS-CORE or Rescue Menu Hacks to be installed. It will also work with the Original Rescue Menu and you only need a modded Original GC Controller and the cIOS249 installed.Thats all.I changed the game partition to run with IOS249 and its set to autoboot. So aslong you have the cIOS249 installed and its a cIOS with cDIP module it will work.

Than i updated the ticket and tmd to be named as UUD but i have to change the game partition, the iso itself and the crypted name of the game too to be fully displayed as "Universal UnbrickDisc"

And be sure you use a ORIGINAL GC Controller becouse we cant manage to boot into rescue menu with a 3-Party GC Controller.

That's news to me too. Worth a try I guess. I wonder if it works.

I seem to have one in my Mediafire. You'll find it in Unbirck Disc folder- click my signature.

Also found it on a torrent site but has no seeders.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
