    Bricked wii Pls Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hello well i backed up my copy of medal of honor heroes 2. It would load but just stay at the secure wii mote screen. I began to investigate, a few people said softmii plays it so i downloaded softmii tried playing it and it didnt work then i read you have to have firmware 3.4 so i ran softmii firmware downgrader i accidently went 3.4u anyway i realised that after i done it so i clicked 3.4e anyway it finished rebooted and just a black screen. I have preloader installed aswell as bootmii but i forget to backup the files to bootmii and anyway i cant get anything to load it just stays on black screen, ive tried the gc pad trick to no avail. Can anyone help me pls. thankyou

Can you get bootmii to load?

Remember bootmii looks for the bootmii folder with the armboot.bin, pccboot.elf present.

If you installed bootmii as IOS this will not work.

What system menu were you on before you downraded/upgraded?

Why would you think that downgrading to 3.4 would help you play a game over 4.0?

With those files in place you should get the bootmii screen loading.

Check the bootmii.ini file, it should look something like this. This config will load bootmii and not anything else. Note: This config is for my PAL system so that might be different.

    Code:
    # BootMii config file

    # Video mode, possible settings:
    # NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
    VIDEO=PAL50

    # Autoboot, possible settings:
    # SYSMENU, HBC
    #AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

    # Autoboot delay, in seconds:
    # Default is 5
    #BOOTDELAY=5
If that SD card doesn't load bootmii then you should use a more compatible one.

Well apart from the info already provided you can look at BootMii - WiiBrew

If these files are indeed on your SD card and the .ini file is correct then it should load. If you are using an incompatible SD card though it won't load. Bootmii can be quite fussy on the type of SD card it chooses to work with. I use a Sandisk 2GB MicroSD card with adaptor and that works 100%, there are many favourable reports on Sandisk cards of other sizes too.

I believe Bootmii (boot2) is your only hope.

I'm not aware that softmii would mess with bootmii.

    Yes you could.

You don't need these files for everyday use, otherwise bootmii wouild load every time you power on.

Try booting with no SD card inserted. If you see a brief set of flashes from the blue slot LED right after you hit the power button, try a different SD card. Make sure you have a directory named "bootmii" with the "armboot.bin" and "ppcboot.elf" files inside.

If you do not see those flashes, BootMii/boot2 is not installed.

ok well i tried those files on another sd card and no didnt work. i dont think its the sd card. Ive heard about the wasabi dx. Installing this then putting in a nintendo recovery disk and it installs a new menu? but how would i get anything to load if i install that cause nothing works. can you open up the wii and reset something or get a new chip or something? thanks.
