Need help from this dark bricked day

Hello to everyone at wiihacks! This is my first post in its proper section:o

REALY need some help please!! Ive got preloader v0.29 and bootmii as boot 2 just to make sure Im 90% safe from bricking my wii running on 4.0E and I just rebooted after installing cIOS38 rev13a then BOOM a warning message came up saying theres a prob with the system menu. So I turned it off and on holding the reset button but I just get a blank screen with no preloader but Ive had preloader working many times before so then I just press reset and bootmii loads YEAH! but the HBC wont work and I carnt load anything on my SD card. Ive not made a backup of the NAND cause I thought preloader would not fail:( I was told to try cBoot2 so when I did I get a message saying-
cBoot Dol loader IOS version 2 v16 0x00020010
Fallback ios loaded
sdio-startup()rv=0
init FAT driver failed.
failed to load boot.dol from front SD card reader. Does anyone know what it means and what am I doing wrong?

What happens when you try to select BHC from the Bootmii menu? Do you get a corrupt picture or screen dump? This is known bug which I have too. Or something else happens?

Do you mean HBC? No never had that prob but heared alot about it.
When my wii goes in to bootmii it wont let me open wii menu or HBC, it just goes to no picture and Ive got to hold power off untill I get the red light!

Yes I meant HBC and code dump, not screen dump! Occasionally I get a black screen too. If anyone know solutions, I'd like to know too.
Did you follow one of the cboot2 guides here and copy the ALL the contents of 'SD card 2' to your card. Sounds like wadmanger is not there (should be boot.dol on your root of the card I think?)

edit: if it is there, I think the 'init FAT driver failed' points to an earlier problem...

I think I found out that Ive not had a patched ios60 so it will not be able to load boot.dol (wad manager) due to firmware 4.0E not supporting .dol.

Your FAT error is described here too cBoot2 - GBAtemp.net
A couple of posts later Wiigator suggests using the latest version should fix it I think. Are you using v16?

Yes I am, that site is where I got cboot2 and the files from. There were 2 versions but I could only dlow v16 due to removing the other one. It talks about the sd fix with v16 but does not help with my prob!
This is driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe contact Wiigator to see if that problem has a fix.
