LU65 Wii Bricked at Health Press A 4.0u

I have been playing around getting the wii loaded. The Wii is a LU65 (Serial #) and came with 4.0u loaded. I loaded the newest Homebrew, and used the Softmii 3.0 instructions to load. I think I did the Softmii where it loaded something to the SD card, but these things are pretty confusing. Anyway, I was able to play all backup games including the new Transformers (would not work on older fixed wii), but I had to go to the Homebrew channel and load the Neo Gamma loader to play. I wanted to have it on a Channel to make it easier, and did not want to do a shortcut to the SD card to load, so I downloaded a NeoGamma R5 WAD, and loaded it. After I loaded it, I restarted the wii, press A at health warning and alll I get is a black screen. Since it is a LU64+ model at 4.0u, is there anything out there for these that can fix this problem???
    Thanks!!

If you installed the SM 3.0 , you should have preloader .29 installed if so ... then you can power down then power on the wii and hold reset , and preloader should open up....You did install preloader?

I must not have loaded the preloader, because no matter when I hold reset, it does nothing different. Hold reset, then press power, hold reset and power, hold reset when it shows the healh screen, etc. Any other suggestions??
    Thanks!!

Looks like my "brick" was caused by the same wad!

    NeoGamma R5 WAD

I installed it, trying to get Wii Sports Resort to work. My Wii no longer boots into the maine menu. It simply stays black after pressing the 'A' button at the Health screen.

I don't have preloader installed since I have never had an issue with this stuff in the past.

Anyone have any ideas to fix this? In the meantime, I'll keep searching for a solution.

    Question

    F@$%! that NeoGamma R5!

I'm in the SAME sad boat!! (4.0u Wii, black screen after Health Warning, can't get anything to boot yet - with or w/out my (old) modchip).

Has *anyone* recovered from this specific bannerbrick scenario yet? Please report in if so!

This is a banner brick and you need a gamecube controller and the universal unbrick disk. The rapishare link on this site is messed up but the media fire one isnt. i will post back with it momentarily.

    EDIT: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mjkzflf2w3m

Best of luck to you all and the requirments are either drivekey or cioscorp ot run the disk and if you get the menu to pop up just press delete all it keeps your firmware.
