Thanks jonathan - have you tried this yourself? Has this been confirmed to fix the brick caused by NeoGamma WAD R5?

This ISO looks familiar but I'll give it another shot on my Wii-Clip V3. I have a Drivekey arriving in a few days - I'm hoping that chip, when set to AUTOBOOT mode, will boot this ISO if my Wii-Clip V3 doesn't.

Yup that should work and yes that disk should work (works for some dont work for others) and yes if your one mod chip doesnt' work your auto boot one should. PS it deletes all the wads i think? or it may just be the offending one i am not sure but either way you have a working wii again hopefully!!

Best of luck to you all

    This time i made sure....

Well - just tried it on my D2E with a D2B drive+Wii-Clip V3. Once I got into Rescue Mode via GC controller I inserted the disc and...

I get the loathsome "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button, remove the Game Disc, and turn the power off. Please read the Wii operations manual for more information".

FWIW - I get the same thing when inserting the disc at the Health Warning screen.

So - all hope still rides on my Drivekey chip having better results.

Thanks again jonathan - if nothing else, you've given me enough hope to last until my Drivekey arrives.

an error has occured when does this happen? i have never heard of it saying "error" it is usally it load's them menu or it doesn't. So when does it display this error and it may have to do with your chip.

It happens as soon as the disc spins up - either in Rescue Mode or Health Warning screen... that message appears for most (if not all) "autoboot" discs.

My theory (hopeful) about this for now is that it's my odd temporary setup of a D2B DVD drive [with Wii-Clip V3] being used in a D2E Wii. Guess I'll confirm that one way or other once Drivekey arrives.

yup and you can try to burn it slower? what speed are you burning and i think there was a wad manager boot disk to but i dont remeber i will look into that.

EDIT: yup score this would work for all you guese much better cause its a wad manager so you can just remove the neogamma wad!!!.

It shouldn't i have installed rev14 and my cioscorp still works..... best thing to do is try the wad disk i think you guys will have more luck with this its more straight forward and wont affect anything except the dumb neogamma wad P.S. you you use the wad disk make sure you have the neo goamma wad still on your SD card or you cant uninstall it

    This time i made sure....

Awesome - will try tonight - Thanks. I'll burn slower if I can (been using 2x - but my drive is a really crappy LiteOn drive... wonder if I should burn elsewhere).

My DriveKey finally left Canada (package tracker had it sitting there 3 days for some reason)... only few more days now!

Well - just tried that WAD MNGR autoboot - via 1x burn on iMac and 1x burn on PC - neither worked. All hopes still riding on the Drivekey...
