my poor wii

Ok heres the problem i got a bricked wii my brother was messing around in the homebrew channle and updated custome ios and now my wii just goes to the black screen. i did install starfall and i have a wiikey the only thing is i think i disabled updating in starfall. i have tried alot of stuff so far. btw i can boot games and backups in recovery mode just cant update(i cant boot newer games like tiger wood 10 jst goes to black screen). i think all i need is to some how boot into the homebrew channel and reflash the ios and everything should be ok ? please help anyone thank you.

P.S. is there a way to edit my starfall from my sd card so i can update?
