UNBRICK your Wii...Preprogrammed to AutoBoot from DVD
As there have been numerous requests for AUTOBOOT DEFAULTED DRIVEKEYs
so We have preprogrammed some with the AUTOBOOT TURNED ON to boot from DVD and these are available for the short term.
Autobooting WasabiDx and Drivekey modchips available to help make it easier to unbrick the wii ..[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
As more sponsors make them available..they will also be listed here
I've heard that in some Banner Brick situations (where you can't reach the Wii System Menu) - it's impossible to get to the DriveKey configuration mode/menu. Is this true?
If so, if the DriveKey is previously "pre-programmed" on another Wii to AUTOBOOT backups will the inability to access the Wii System Menu no longer be a problem? (meaning you could boot rescue/unbrick discs at this point and fix your brick - theoretically)

Thanks
you will still not be accessing the wii system menu
just means what it says" autoboots from disc" without going thru the wii menu
and it really it up to u to use whatever custom software is on forum...to make it work for you
to my knowledge...theres been about 80 sold and all ok now...but 3 so far , still screwed
I purchased one of the autoboot Drivekeys from this site, its in the mail now. I was amazed at the customer service that this site provides, i was able to live chat with someone at 11 pm about the chip and purchase it. This person was not just some sells person either, his knowledge about the softmodding/hardmodding scene was impressive.
I also got a tracking #. I will update on how the unbrick went after the chip arrives in the mail.
10/1 - UNBRICKED - forgot about updating, got the chip about a week after i ordered it, installed smooth, booted up UUDV2 flawlessly and from there i downloaded a 3.2 system wad from nusdownloader installed the new system menu then upgraded with koko's 4.0 firmware updater

Just to check I'm reading this correctly, a drivekey preset to boot directly from disc, a savemii/savemiifrii and an appropriate bootdisc, (Bootmii recovery/HBC/Wadanager), would allow the recovery of a wii with a totally screwed system menu as it reads the boot data from the relevant bootdisc not the nand?
