If you have this chip installed. Insert the disc and perform the savemiifrii by holding all four d-pad directions on a gamecube controller that is plugged into the fourth port.
I also can get into recovery mode. I cant get into systemmenu so i just run the disk above mentioned?
Ps- i cant get into internet and its not configured.

The pre-programmed to autoboot Wasabi DX or Drivekey which is available from the link in this thread.
I have a banner bricked wii and an autoboot enabled wasabi dx, i bought a savemii as i couldn't be bothered with the savemiifrii everytime (lazy i know). My wii can get to the recovery mode but when it try to boot off ANY disk (Original game, Backup game, Unbrick Disk) the firmware version disappears but it just sits at a black screen and doesn't go any further.
At first i thought that this was a problem with my wii and how i'd stuffed it up but when i try and do the same on my other working wii it just does the same.
i don't have BootMii or Preloader on either of them.
Any help or pearls of wisdom would be GREATLY appreciated as i feel i'm getting closer to a resolution but it seems tantalizingly out of reach

Hi,im new on here and was looking for a bit of info,my son updated his softmodded pal wii with an ntsc update and now it is what you say bricked.can this be unbricked at all it didnt have any preloader or bootmii installed just back up launcher and homebrew channel.any help much appreciated.
Rob.
dodjer - Depends on which game was used. If it's anything but NSMB then you can use NSMB PAL to update your Wii to 4.1 and put it right.
Or if you can access homebrew channel
Install System IOS and System Menu for your version using Wad manager.
I'd do the second one as you are in control, not Nintendo.
