    System Menu Not Loading

I've looked at some of the other threads and they all seem fairly technical but I unfortunately don't know much on this subject. Anyways, I just bought a modded Wii, everything seems to work fine with playing games. However the system menu cannot load, and this is really annoying because I can't do a proper calibration. When I click on the system menu I get an opera window open telling me that my internet isn't connected. When I bought the Wii I asked which mod chip he had installed, he said he didn't know. Any suggestions on unlocking the system menu?

im not a pro at this but if your sys menu is 3.2> then u can just pop in like 4 example a brawl disk and it will update your sys menu back up to 3.3 BUT it wont be semi-bricked anymore so then you can downgrade and all that fun stuff S

    This time i made sure....

Yes if you put in an NTSC brawl your system menu will by fixed but it will be at 3.3. If you want to downgrade just go to this: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...atutorial.html. this is the coolest guide ever S

Wii sports resort update, now system menu doesn't load

Hey all. I have a soft modded wii and was running 3.2 firmware. I got wii sports resort last night and had to update the system before I could run it. Now, the same thing happened after I hacked my wii and tried to play mario kart and I updated it and everything was fine so I figured it wouldn't be an issue for wii sports resort. After the install the wii doesn't even load to the safety message before the system menu, nothing shows up on the tv, just a black screen. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks to anyone that can help.

Did you downgrade the Wii firmware to 3.2 or was it already there?

Did you install bootmii as boot2 before you created your full brick?

Im not sure what you mean as boot2 but here is exactly what I did to my wii:
    -Downgraded to 3.2
    -Installed Homebrew Channel
    -Installed DVDx
    -Installed wad manager
    -Installed back up loader
    -Installed Gecko OS

When I tried to play Mario Kart for the first time after installing all this it said system update in the upper left where the game icon normally appears on the main menu. I updated, restarted and everything still worked just fine. Tried the same thing with wii sports resort and now I get absolutely nothing when I fire up the wii, just a black screen and the wiimotes will not sync.
