    Unhappy IOS60 Brick, any suggestions?

Ok, so I've been softmodding my wii for a while, started with the HBC, then onto everything else. Like the USB loader and gamma v0.3 back up loader. and after i had updated to 4.0U i was upset that i could no longer install VC/Wiiware wads, so i looked around and found out about the ios60.
    This is what i did:
    1. installed the cios60 wad with wadmanager
    2. restarted wii, and got the corrupt files message
    3. luckily i have preloader installed so i went to homebrew channel through that and uninstalled the wad. BIG mistake there
    4. restarted wii and...nothing. The green light goes on, the disk drives kicks in, but there is no sound or video and the wiimotes wont connect.

I was looking around the net, but no real fix, any advice? I know there is Savemii, but I dont see how that would work with a 4.0U menu, since you need an update right?

If its hopeless for me to fix it, do you know if Nintendo will repair this for me? (my wii is 2+ years, so warranty was dead anyway)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Im in the same boat as you mate! with no picture or sound and preloader installed but just stoped working but after looking through this forum I remembered that I installed bootmii as boot2 and put the bootmii files back on my SD (armboot.bin, ppcboot.elf and bootmii.ini) and now bootmii loads up and Ive got the wii menu, HBC, SD and NAND backup options but when trying to load wii menu or HBC the wii goes right back to no picture!
After restarting the wii to bootmii I try to load boots of apps and wads from SD but it says failed loading boot.dol
In order to unbrick my wii I need to be able to access HBC but bootmii wont let me.

Does preloader still work for you?
Do you know if you installed bootmii when installing Hackmii for HBC? or did you install HBC another way?
Ive also found out that if you do have bootmii installed and forgot about it like I did and just relyed on preloader you can put the bootmii files back on SD and use cBoot2 if bootmii is installed as boot2 not ios.
cboot2 uses bootmii to load a wad manager without having to install it to your wii to uninstall a .wad that bricked you or install a .wad.
Ive been trying the cBoot2 method for a few days now but just keep getting an error message like-
    Fallback ios loaded
    sdio-startup()rv=0
    init FAT driver failed
failed to load boot.dol from front SD card reader.

if you deleted ios60 then you have a full brick - nothing you can do about it unless you backed your nand up with bootmii beforehand...

I installed cIOS38 rev13a, my wii reset and then no picture. I think I installed it over an ios the system was running on.

Ive tryed the samemiifrii trick many times using a gc controller and game discs but not tryed it with an autoboot unbrick disc yet.
Can I burn it on a DVD+R due to not having any -R left with Nero?

No, not once! I think bootmii could be stopping the savemiifrii trick cause it boots right into it every time. Also bootmii goes to no picture if I try and load hbc or wii menu.
Should I remove my SD card when trying savemiifrii?
