    Unhappy She's a BRICK house ! ! !

    you're fcuked IMHO

I've seen many posts with this problem & had the same problem myself, but I've not seen anyone post a solution on any Wii Board

I even called Nintendo & said I would pay for the repair, but they said they could do nothing & that I should get a replacement from the vendor I bought it from

in the end I bought a used Wii from GameStop & traded in my old brick for $70 credit. It cost me just over $100 to get a new Wii, but at least it works & I didn't have to pay $200 for a new one.

I'll never run Nintendo's updates directly again

If you take the left way on the diagram, all the way to the bottom it says to install the system menu with any region changer.

What's the difference between installing the Sys Menu with Any region changer and instaling the Sys Menu with Preloader "Load/Install File" option?

    Thank you

You can install a system menu anyway you want, if that is what you need to do to fix your issue. There are better ways than any region changer, I would use dop-ios-mod, or wadmanager. Just be sure to install your system ios before you install your system menu if that is what you choose to do.

That is all I can say as I have no idea what your trouble is.

    Thanks for the answer,

I asked that because that's what I did a while ago to recover from a semibrick and I wanted to know if by doing that my wii had something missing or any disadvantage since I didn't use any region changer as suggested.

I'll post my full concern in a new thread in order to keep this thread out of "not so" related stuff.

    system corrupted puzzle??

My turn, I guess. I have an older wii which was running hbc and bootmii as boot2. It had been powered down for several days, and when I turned it on I got the system corrupted message. Bootmii works beautifully, as does hbc. I have tried restoring from a backup, also used nus to replace the major ios's and the system menu, all of which was done with a drivekey just installed. Even took a chance with an autoboot disk. No dice! At this point, I am pulling hair and all suggestions to cure the system problem will be gladly considered!
