Well it's probably worth checking. If you did successfully install bootmii as boot2 your Wii light would flash like this when you power up.

Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Ya, got zelda to boot using savemii, anyways.. I will try bootmii and see if it works.. else.. then I will need to get one of them iso's to damn boot for a chance... being that zelda was able to boot.. means that I still have a pefect chance to get my Wii back... I cross my fingers.

Should be a straight-forward system menu install needed to flush that nasty theme away. Maybe the wad manager iso from Dogeggs post?

I think I have tried it.. but will try it again though.. this time I will use bootme to create the autoboot modification... Anyways.. I ran out of dvds lol so will have to try it out after work.. I want to record the whole proceess for future help.. also one more thing.. (dumb question) if I try to extract the .iso (the wad manager iso) should it be able to extract? cause I dont loaded and iso.. but then I tried extracting it to see what was inside.. winrar gave me an error. Now as far as I know.. I should be able to see whats inside.

You won't be able to view the contents of a Wii disc, even if it is an autobooting disc as it is of a format that PC does not understand.

I too have a fully bricked Wii, is there no way even if I install a solderless mod chip? I though you could autoboot a recovery dvd and restore Wii back to original. Please help if I'm incorrect.

    Thanks,

    Matt.
