Black Screen on my Wii STUCK!

Frankly I am pretty much inept when it comes to the softmod arena. I have my wii that all it does is either show a black screen when I turn it on, or no signal. I believe something is wrong with the softmodding and I need to reinstall the home channel on it, bootmii etc. I don't know what files I need to download on my SD card or if there is an online store of people who would do the repair for me, but I need serious help. I don't know what info you guys need so if you have any questions that will help me solve this issue please help!

Did you follow our Softmod ANY Wii guide to do the original mod?
Do you know if bootmii is installed as boot2 or as an IOS?
Did you install priiloader? Hold the reset button in while powering on your Wii to check.
What SM version were you on prior to your problems?
What did you do just prior to the start of your problem? (the core of the issue)

    1. I did not follow your guide, a friend of mine did it for me.
    2. I believe it was boot2 but not 100% sure
    3. I did install it but due to it going blank it doesn't work.
    4. No idea
    5. No idea, it's been a long time, this is the message I had from 2 years ago that might explain:

I softmodded my Wii about a year ago so I'd be able to play imported games, ever since my Wii has been rather problematic with me.

At times when I turn it on and the SD Card with all the software (bootmii, homebrew etc.) is inside the slot, the disk tray is flashing blue. When I take the card out, it just doesn't work. It leads me to try OVER AND OVER with the card inside until I am getting the bootmii screen after my 15th or so try. Problem is that at times, once I get to bootmii, I cannot access the Wii Menu nor the Homebrew channel at all, the screen just go dark.

At times once things DO work everything is hunky-dory and I can play games and what not. For a day. Then it goes back to the original problem, one time I even had a SOLID blue light in the disk tray, not to mention lately when I play games they freeze up on me, which is really irritating.

I am not sure what the problem is, I have everything installed, every WAD, bootmii, homebrew and priiloader and yet I get those annoying problems OVER AND OVER. I am pretty lost and I have been trying to fix myself to no avail.

    Please help!

I take it the black screen is either a new development, or is typical when your Wii doesn't function correctly. Which is it - new or how it is when it's being... tempermental?

Usually when my SD card is IN the Wii, the blue LED tray light is flashing. When it is NOT in the Wii, the screen is black. I think I may have done something wrong in the wii and it doesn't load properly. And when it did work, it basically took me to the MMM, and whenever I tried to exit it, it looped me back to it. So this problem has lasted for well over 2 years now.

Does the blue disc tray light flash twice very quickly when you first power it on?

EDIT: I gotta get up for work in a few hours, but heres my thoughts up til now based upon what you have said: You have a boot2 Wii and a féd up sd card. So heres what you need to do: Back up your sd to a folder on your PC. Follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide word for word. That means do a format to your SD card using the SD formatting utility included in that guide. After formatting start in Chapter 1 at the section "Other Desperate Options" and select the boot2 option. Follow EVERYTHING in the guide after that. That means the IOS Update, modpack, SM4.1 install, everything. It will overwrite any madness you already had installed on there. Let us know the results.

Just an update, now it doesn't even do the multiple blinking or goes into a black screen. All it does it shows "NO SIGNAL" on my TV, so it may be worse now.
