semi brick wii? need help to fix. i am new

2 months ago I had a person soft mod my wii (red wii) and install homebrew boomii and prii (I think that their names) through letterbomb. I jus discovered now I can not access he wii settings. the screen just goes black an I need to kill power to the wii to get it working again. it appears it is a semi brick? it seems due to the fact the person who modded my wii loaded custom themes. I don't think I have a NAND backup or I don't know where to find it. can anyone help me fix my issue? I may need to redo the whole modding? how do I redo it and erase all previous modding off my wii? how can I find my mac number if I cant access the wii settings?

If you can still access HomeBrew Channel, then you don't need to letterbomb it again.

Look through the Softmod Any Wii guide that I have linked in my signature and go through it completely.

When you are given the choice of exploit to use, choose the one "for systems already with HBC". Everything you need will be run through HBC and you won't have to letterbomb it again.

Go through all of the optional stuff in chapter 2. ModPack, IOS Update, Menu 4.1, Priiloader, Wii Shop v21.

Installing IOS Update and a fresh Menu 4.1 should get you back to where you want to be.

Don't uninstall, delete, or format anything first, just remod on top of what you have.

    Then stay away from themes.

it has worked excellent. thank you for the help. I do have just 1 more minor concern. I now have many things on my sd card. what do I need and what do I not need? when I open homebrew I see the following options:

    multimod manger
    usb loader g
    iiflow
    wiiflow
    cios installer
    cios installer
    configurable usb loader
    drkcop v1.1 installer
    gc backup launcher
    gecko
    gecko os
    genesis plus gx
    homebrew browser
    ios58 installer
    loadmii
    mios patcher
    neogamma
    pcsx-revolution
    priioader236 mod
    snes9x gx
    wii mod (v3.2)
    wii64
    wiimc
    wiimednafen
    wiivnc
    ciosx_rev19-installer
    hackmii_installer_v1.0
    piiloader for motion plu

some of those are emulators I want to keep. but what ones do I have to keep if any? cani delete the whole sd card without any bad consequences? Thanks again for the help.

Anything that says installer can be deleted. If you have Wii Mod, you don't really need MMM.

The rest are pretty much up to you if you want to keep them or not.

And if you want to completely blow up your card and start rebuilding apps that you want to keep, you can do that, as well.
