    old bricked wii

Ok heres my issue, along time ago (like 4 5 years ago) also keep in mind i no longer have any of the files i used or the guides and am hoping my memory is somewhat accurate.
i had my wii but the drive was going out so someone told me to mod it and just copy my games to a hdd before the cdrom went out(as i was too broke to pay to have it repaired at the time). so i installed the twilight hack/hbc and i was told i needed to update to f/w
v4.2 so i was attempting to use waninkokos updater but it kept giving me an error. so i looked around a bit and someone mentioned installing ios80(not sure) first and to install priiloader (i believe it was or w/e the option was in the hbc installer i can't remember at this point) first.
ok so i launched the hbc installer and ran the installer for priiloader(hopefully that was it) it said it couldn't install something and asked to do something else wich i agreed to (i believe it couldn't install to boot2 to so it wanted to install as ios)thinking hey this wil help protect from bricks. ok so with this done i restarted the wii and thought well that done i installed the ios80 installer seemed like everything was fine i didn't restart at this point and went on ahead with waninkokos updater(wich completed fine it said).
now heres where the problem comes in after all this it no longer boots(just a black screen) it comes on the savemefrii doesn't show any f/w versions or anything.
keep in mind this was all done years ago this is what i remember of the process i don't believe anything else has been done to the wii.
the main question what can i do to fix it to even make it normal at this point?
also i'm sorry if i'm breaking any rules just let me know i'll remove this post or anything that needs to be, those amount of rules are allot to take in in one sitting.
thank you to anyone in advanced for posting a reply.

    I got lost in that.

You posted in the brick section. Can you sumerize what you can or cannot do on the Wii, if you think your system is bricked?

Does it get to Wii Menu, if so: what menu version do you have?

Do you have access to HBC?

Did priiloader get installed correctly (if you hold RESET while booting it, does it start up?)

This is probably a job for Mr. Mauifrog to work his magic, but answering these questions may help in getting things started to see if this mess is fixable.

it was 4.0 but i used wanikokos 4.2 updater , when it is turned on it does nothing but a black screen, red light turns to green as well, screen lights up, and holding in reset while you power it on also does nothing.
i believe priiloader got installed as ios but im not entierly sure it may have been removed when the waninkoko update was installed.

It is bricked, you can't fix it. The only possible fix is nand programming, but you can only have that done if you have a bootmii nand backup from the bricked wii.

You can't fix it with a modchip, only nand progamming can fix it and that can only be done if you have the nand keys for the wii (from a bootmii backup or other).
