The big question is what guide did you follow? If you followed the Softmod Any Wii guide or ModMii then you have a dip patched System IOS. Without that then your back to having a NAND flash or needing a modchip with a drive swap to fix. If you did follow either of those guides then you'll have to take your Wii apart and solder in a GC controller. I removed the connecter from a junk mobo that I soldered some wires too and I then solder those wires to the bricked Wiis motherboard in place of where the GC ports should be. Other than that, I can't give you any direction. It takes some technical knowledge in order to accomplish this.

And to anyone reading this, this just goes to prove that Priiloader is not a brick prevention. Don't install themes unless you know the chance your taking.

Sheesh, sounds so much simpler than it actually is. I'll do some research, see what I can come up with. And I used the Softmod Any Wii guide btw.
    Seriously...

I'm not sure you will find info on soldering in a GC in your Wii. It hasn't been done very much as far as I know.

I'm not sure I would say that.

So basically it all depends on where I look, huh?

Deadly Foez soldered in a GC port to a Wii that came without the ports. I do not think he gave a step by step (his posts are... usually lacking, simply because more or less he'd rather you send it to him so he can charge you some bucks, lol). If you entertain that, it'd be easier for you to send it to Krafter for NAND reprogramming than a "maybe" with SaveMiiFrii.

I do basically the same thing except its not a permanent attachment. I do it for repair only and then remove it. Maybe I'll take some picks next time and post them but its really not that difficult if you have soldering skills. All the points are there on the board for the connecter.... It's just not there. Solder Point A to A and B to B and so forth. Nothing to it.

So it is possible to send it in to someone (for a small fee), to have it fixed?
    Seriously...

You make a NAND backup? If so, yep. If not, so-so odds at best.
