Assistance with WiiKey 3 (aka. WiiKey Fusion)

I have a WiiKey 3 installed on my Wii along with the SD Card reader. My problem is, due to the fact my Wii is bricked, I'm trying to unbrick it. I don't have the trucha bug, so I am trying to autoboot Lego Indiana Jones to run Indiana PWNS and fix my Wii. So, I use my SaveMii dongle to get into recovery mode and it displays 4.3E. However, when I have my SD Card already inserted before turning the Wii on and getting to recovery, the 4.3E disappears after 5-10 seconds and I am left with a black screen. Also, when I insert the SD once I am in recovery mode, the 4.3E just stays there and doesn't go away. The same happened when I tried to run Autoboot B.L.I.N.D. Does anyone know what's wrong? I have set the ISO to autoboot via Wii Autoboot Creator. Please help. Thank you

Posting in modchip archives is probably not going to get you any help. Be mindful of where you post. I am going to move this to the bricked section where it will be more likely to get the attention of our expert.

Possibly the wii autoboot creator does not work, it has been awhile but there was one of those that just did not work. Download wiiisorenamer v3, open you lego indiana jones game in that, just change the R in the title id to 0. Put that on your sd card, turn the wii off and put the sd card in the wii, boot into recovery menu. See how that goes.

Is your wii able to read backup dvd? If not the sd is the only option, but if it can perhaps try from disc.

You do have the savegame exploit already installed on the wii right?

How did the wii get bricked? What is wrong with it?

I'll give that a try and see what happens. I do have the savegame exploit already installed. I'm not sure if my Wii is able to read backup DVD's. I made a bad mistake and I installed a wrong version theme. I regret that and I definitely won't be making the same mistake.

The game ID is RLIP64, do I change the R to 0 so its 0LIP64?

I guess it didn't work. The same thing happened and it leaves me with a black screen.

The sd card is wbfs partion, or fat32? I don't know much about this chip.

Have a look at the sd card and game iso with
    WIT: Wiimms ISO Tools

    Try
    Code:
    wit verify -s sd:\ -v
    or
    Code:
    wit verify -r sd:\ -v
    and
    Code:
    wit verify game.iso -v
    You using wbfs manager 4.0?

Just wanted to let you know, I am looking into your issue further. Have a look here-
It does not seem hopeful ATM.

??? Do you have another functional wii ???
??? Can your bricked wii's dvd drive support backup dvd loading ???

Thanks for these posts Mauifrog. Also thanks for looking into this issue.

    Answers:

The SD card is FAT32. I've checked WIT but I'm not sure how to use it properly, it's quite confusing.I am not using WBFS Manager. I don't have another functional Wii, but I can try and get one. Erm, after scanning, I found out my drive is either DMS or D3. I'm not pretty sure which one it is because I was not the one that opened the Wii and fitted the driver chip.

    Thanks again.

*EDIT* So, I have looked at the link you gave me about the posts on gbatemp. So, from what I am understanding, if my dvd drive can support loading dvd backups, I can use a disc to autoboot Indiana Jones? Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, loading from disc should work, if the drive supports it.
