You need to delete all custom stages first, and ensure you are using the proper region smash stack for your game. There are usa, jap, kor, pal versions.

I downloaded Smash Stack_Hackmii_1.1.0.zip (as per the link provided by nightstah) for 4.3U as I have an NTSC/U/C machine I assumed this was correct, once downloaded to the desktop I extracted the file to a formatted 2GB SD card.

I loaded SSBB and proceeded to wipe all data including the 3 pre-loaded custom levels, back to the main menu (SD card in) then forward again to the stage builder and nothing it does see the card but shows no data.

    Where am I going wrong?

    Are you loading ssbb-usa?
Try to format your sd card with the Panasonic sd formater.

Your sd card should look like
    sd:\boot.elf
    sd:\private\...

    Will this never end.......

Anyway obvious question which Panasonic formater should I use, as I have looked and there are many sites with many versions and I am bound to use the wrong one!

    All the best.

Mire, while u said" I loaded SSBB and proceeded to wipe all data including the 3 pre-loaded custom levels, back to the main menu (SD card in) then forward again to the stage builder and nothing it does see the card but shows no data.......", may be u should insert the SD card just after u <forward again to the stage builder>.

    Ok guy's

I am about to launch this thing out of the window, I do not know where I am going wrong but it is not working, here is where I am:

I have a NTSC/U/C Wii and an original copy of SSBB
I have deleted all save game data/levels included the 3 preloaded ones
I have a 2GB SD card (FAT32) which I have now formatted with the newly downloaded SDformatter as suggested by mauifrog, it gives me 3 options 1. Quick 2. Full (erase) 3. Full (overwrite) I have formatted my card by using option 2. Full (erase) & 3. Full (overwrite)
I have downloaded Smash Stack_Hackmii_1.1.0.zip and have it zipped on my desktop, If I open the zipped file I am present with a file of the same name if I then open that I then have a file marked "private" and another marked "boot.elf"
I then extract the entire Smash Stack_Hackmii_1.1.0.zip file to the FAT32 memory card, the card then shows the file of the same name if i then open that file (on the FAT32) I then get the same two files as above "private" & "boot.elf".
I then remove card (SSBB is happily playing away to itself on the Wii ready and waiting) and slot into the Wii I select Vault and then Stage Builder and nothing again it sees the card but shows 0 on data!

    Please advise!

    All the best.

sd card should look like this-

    sd:\boot.elf
    sd:\private\

It should not look like this-

    sd:\Smash Stack_Hackmii_1.1.0\boot.elf
    sd:\Smash Stack_Hackmii_1.1.0\private\

    Hi mauifrog

If I open the FAT32 I am presented with a single file icon and the file name "Smash-Stack_Hackmii_1.1.0"
If I then open that I have the same standard brown file icon with "private" and different file icon with "boot.elf" next to it!

    What am I doing wrong?

Move /boot.elf and /private out of the /Smash Stack_Hackmii_1.1.0/ folder and put in in the root of the sd card, sd:/
