    Just to verify, does your screen look like this when you boot your Wii?

    As for cjizzle (my compliments to you on your name, for the record), no, that's not what my screen looks like when I boot my Wii. My screen looks specifically like this:

    After it gets to the "starting .DOL" message, it locks up. I checked the CIOS pack with the md5summer and it listed several errors. I can screencap the results, if that might help.

    Try to format the SD card with the Panasonic SD formater. Extract the mod files from chapter 2 of the soft mod guide, use 7-zip, extract directly to SD. Verify md5 on SD and try again.
