    Can anyone recover my data?

So I softmodded my wii a while ago. Everything was fine for a long time and one day it just wouldn't turn on. No picture, completely blank. I have replaced the bluetooth module and the wifi module and it did not help at all. I did a really sloppy job taking it apart and I'm afraid I may have mangled some things. Anyway, I really just want my game saves and stuff off of the wii. Is there anyone with a nand reader that would be able to read my save data off the chip if I sent you the dismantled wii? How much would something like this cost? Is it even possible?

Have if you have a nand backup it can be recovered, or boot bootmii.

I dont have a nand backup, I thought bootmii was setup but it doesn't seem to be working. I did this mod back when I didn't know quite as much about the wii. Can't the data be read off of the nand chip with a hardware reader?

Without a nand backup the data on the wii can only be recovered if the wii is old enough to have a vulnerable boot1 allowing boot2 bootmii to be installed. There is a sticky with a list of compatible wii serial numbers, check that if you think it may be possible. Most wii are not able to install bootmii as boot2, so unless the wii is very old it is not likely.
