change the exploit id on sd
Yes but how? should I rename a folder? run a command? edit a text file? where is the exploit id on located? which one is he referring too? sorry for being newbie.

all I have in the SD after extracting the smash stack is the boot.elf and private folder containing files. Which one contains the exploit id? How do I go about editing it? The DVD side is already done and working but the I'm stuck with the smash stack exploit id in SD.

Sorry, not an expert at this so don't know. Try googling it. Maybe you'll get the answer.

Wait, I think I found it. You have a "private" folder right? Go to the directory

    private/wii/title

There I think you have a folder named "RSBP." Rename that folder to "0SBE."

Delete 0SBE on your sd card, download smash stack pal and rename it from RSBP to 0SBE. Also there are two pal exploits, with and without savegame on wii, get the right one depending.

    Same problem , Please help!

Hi Mauifrog, I have the same problem A korean wii bricked with green and pink stripes. I tried the smash stack method but i can not load the smashsmall game. When i go in to recovery it shows 3.4(KOR) at the bottom i then try to load the game but the drive only spins for awhile and then stops. It is weird though because I can load the official recovery disk from Nintendo. So i tried the Install Savegame HACKS from Recovery once again i can restore the save game file but can not load the game. The wii has been modded before, i don't know how, as it is my friends wii. Is there any way for me to recover the wii from the official recovery disk? Any help ? Thanks for a great forum.

Sounds like you need to patch the iso of your game exploit to autoboot, then burn it again. The chip should be configured for Korean, the iso should have a Korean region string and a title id matching the installed system menu (that might not really be required).
    .
Use regionfrii to change the region string to 04 (if I remember right).
Use wiiisorenamer v3 to edit the title id. Change R to 0 to set it to autoboot. Example ssbb-usa, change RSBE01 to 0SBE01. Also best to set the title id to the region of the installed system menu, so if the menu is usa it would be E, pal would be P, jap J, kor which you don't have install K. 0SBE01 would be for a usa menu, 0SBP01 for pal, 0SBJ01 for jap, ect.

How did you install 3.4 on this KOR wii? Disc update or failed region change? A KOREAN disc update would also fix the issue, but you should be able to load your exploit disc without issue. Let me know how it goes, if you need more options I can give you some. What game exploit did you install?

You can't do anything else with the nintendo recovery disc, last I checked it does not swap out to another disc. There are some possibility to use it to install wads, but I can't test that now and it is not worth the trouble. Avoid any other disc update ATM, unless you have a 4.+ kor system update. I do have a Kor system update somewhere which I could get to you if needed.

Try to make the patches to your exploit game, patch it to autoboot, change region to KOR, set title id to match install menu (USA/eruo/jap, whatever you think you have).

One last thing, lucky you it is 3.4kor and not 3.2/3.3 kor. Anything semibricked korean wii less than 3.4 can not be fixed, lucky you yours is fixable.
