I am on my knee's, help please with black screen Wii

    I'm in need of a little help/direction

My Wii has a black screen when turned on, i got to this point when I was actaully following this guide 'Completely Virginise and 4.2 Softmodded Wii' when it got to the point of B2, installing all the WAD files, i got an error on the system menu file,i took the sd card out to try another system menu wad file but when i inserted the card back in, the Wii didnt recognise it. Ooops!

My Wiimotes have de-synced so i have a gamecube controller that i can operate, i can also boot into Multi_mod manager through having Bootmi installed(yippee) it is at this point i am lost.

Ive tried a couple of methods of getting things back to normal but no luck,http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...tion-here.html & http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...-your-wii.html

So i'm out ideas, if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated

Added info, i think i might've been on 4.2e when i tried to 'Virginise' it. It is a European Wii and i've i've no idea the current status with regards to whats installed wad or ISO wise

Any info required i will try to give

    Thanks for reading

Hi mauifrog, It was soft modded at one point and I'm giving it to my brother for my niece so I wanted it back to stock essentially. I don't play it anymore and don't have many new games I could've gave him with the mod so it made sense to put it back to stock

OK, download this and extract it to some folder on your pc
    giantpune's Nand Tools.zip

Extract this to a formatted sd card
    bootmii.zip

Boot the wii, bootmii should load. Make a new nand backup.

Copy the nand.bin and key.bin file to the folder with nand tools on your pc.
Run ohneschwanzenegger. Click the search button on the mid right side of the app, locate your nand.bin and open it.
Format the nand.bin under the content menu.
Then type 4.3e into the box and get it, a full 4.3e system will be installed to the nand, nice and clean.
Enter the wii's serial number into the setting.txt when asked

Now check the nand, open the command prompt link in the nand tools folder
    Code:
    nandbincheck nand.bin -all -v
Make sure the check looks good and there are no errors.

Copy your new nand back to the sd card
    Load bootmii, restore the nand

That should do it, leave bootmii installed

are nand.bin and nandbincheck in the same folder? Are any security apps restricting it?

Both in same folder, all dll files are there also. Can't see any restrictions from Avast that are preventing it running. Nandbincheck runs so,it does execute but it's having issues with finding the NAND.bin. Does it matter where the NAND tools folder resides? As long as its all in the same folder, yes?
