I am certainly no expert on this but do you have Piiloader installed and if yes can you get into it by hold in the reset button as you push the power on.

    1. Fess up. Tell us exactly what you did to get it in this state.
    2. Can you turn the wii on with the wiimote?
    3. Start here.
    4. Try SaveMiiFrii. Gamecube controller, press & hold all 4 directionals while turning on. Keep holding.

    Report back.

Go try savemiifrii & verify that wii turns on with wiimote.

Is it a really old wii? If so, you may be able to get someone to flash bootmii into boot2, which will allow for recovery. If not, savemiifrii might be your last hope unless you have a nand backup and keys...

I'm truly sorry this happened... I feel I have to point this out though... going from 4.1 to 4.2 buys you nothing. 4.2 just kills homebrew and disables region free w/ modchips. There is absolutely no reason to use it. Might want to spend a little time reading the FAQ in my signature.....

Yes i can turn the Wii on with The Wii mote.... I had just downgraded my Wii from System Menu 4.3u to system menu 4.1u and my goal was to get to System menu 4.2u, So i found a tutorial on how to downgrade your Wii to 4.1u and i downgraded it through Dop-Mii and i thought it is easier to update than to "Down-date" so after that i wen't into the Wii mod home brew because it had the System Menu editor Tool in it, so I change the setting to System menu 4.2 and the files download from the MSU thing and I think everything is going to work and I Thought i was be at system Menu version 4.2 after i exit'd the Home brew, Well it wasn't right as soon as i left the home brew channel i wen't to a totally black screen and i restarted the Wii and that is how i got here

Also I made a nand backup from my other Wii with key's could that be used on this Wii?

The Wii Serial No. Starts with a LU7 can that calculate the date

If your wii is any color other than white, the answer is no, you will not be able to install bootmii as boot2. If it is white, you can punch your serial into wiidrives.com and that will give you some indication. Keys from another different wii are like keys to different car. While similar in appearance and usage, one will not work with the other.

LU7 consoles are not boot2 compatible. You will need Savemii and either a) a drive that can read backup discs, a trucha patched system IOS, and a modchip, or b) an original game with the 4.3 system update.
