    Wii doesn't output any video

I bought a Wii to HDMI plug yesterday, and everything worked fine.
This morning the Wii suddenly doesn't display any video anymore, not even with my Component cable.

When I move the wii mote, it does vibrate, so the wii does boot.
The LED also flashes when booting, but holding the power of reset button, doesn't do anything, even though I have bootmii and priiloader installed.

    Please help me!

Do you have a composite cable still (not component) if so, give that a whack & see what happens. Report back.

I borrowed a friend's composite cable and with that cable it does work. So I can probably figure it out myself now

Edit: I can't figure it out.
My tv has no composite in, so I need to get it working with HDMI.
When using a composite cable, the Wii does show output. I'm able to select either 480i or 576i. (I'm testing it on another tv)
When using a component or HDMI cable, I don't get any output at all.

Your AV encoder has most probably to blame. You'll need to replace it.... which as memory serves involves some soldering.

I decided I want to replace it. But I have no clue where to buy one. Do you know any shops that sell them?
And could the Wii to HDMI plug have broken it?
