Black screen when I turn my Wii on.

I have no idea how this happened.

I bought this Wii from someone yesterday, already hacked, and everything was working perfectly.

I changed the video settings for something and now when I turn my Wii on, it suddenly just goes to a black screen and won't let me go any further.

From what I've read it sounds like I've bricked my Wii, but I have absolutely no idea how that happened.

If it helps the version is. 4.3U

Any help would be appreciated (especially if it fixes the problem)

    Thank you very much.

Did your Wii automatically go to a usb loader when you turned it on? Or did it go to the system menu?

Is priiloader installed? Hold in the reset button while powering on to see if priiloader comes up.

I tried that after reading about it from another thread.

Unless you need to hold the reset button in for a long time, I don't think it does have it installed.

So you changed the video settings in what? What exactly did you do?

I went into USB Loader after putting a new game in, but it didn't work.

So I went into the settings for the game and changed the video setting to "System Default" and saved the changes.

The game still didn't work but now the Wii won't either.

I may have changed one other option, but I really don't think I did. If I had a picture of what the settings screen looks like, I'd probably remember better.

I have never heard of a Wii bricking from just a change made in a usb loader... Have you tried taking the sd card out of your Wii and then powering it on?

    Yes.

You don't happen to know what the settings are for USB Loader GX are do you?

Maybe I did change something else.

Would simply changing a setting for a game be able to brick the Wii?

The settings for GX all vary depending on your personal setup. Like I said though, I have never heard of a loader causing a brick (in my experience). When you power on your Wii does the blue light flash twice quickly?
