    Bricked?!?

    Hi there!

I'm getting very furious since, by some sort of mistake, I think I've bricked my wii! but nothing is sure right now. Why? well, it's true that my wii only make a black screen when I power it up. However, the wii seems to run like if there's no problem (cd loading up, wiimote loaded, ect...) and so, I wondered if my wii is really bricked (and that is why I didn't post in the bricked problem only...).

Otherwise, if it is, I want to inform that I have only a soft-modded wii, running on 4.3u, bootmii as Iso (I think, because no boot2 is avaible) and no priiloader (as so many other tutorial says). I have a backup of the system on my SD card (performed by bootmii). I've tried so many tutorial, but they always end to nothing since I can't see what my wii does...

Now, I just wanted to says the last thing performed on my wii is to install the dark yellow theme (with my mymenuify) and followed the instructions carefully... and downloaded from they's recommended site web...

    thankfully,
    Will'

P.S. I also Installed some Ios (56,249 and 250 I think) because of the wiiflow and usb loader GX.

Moved your post to the bricked section. Sorry Willsono, it sounds like you are outta luck. Themes without any sort of brick protection are bad news. I believe your only option now is to send it off to a nand programmer...

Out of curiosity, can you provide me a link to the site you got the theme from?

EDIT: Please send it via PM, because it is against site rules to post outside links.

I look into it and edit this post for anything new.

Edit: I am very, but very confused by this method. I meant, is that something that works only with modded wii? if not, how can I boot it without breaking my gamecube controller apart? and if someone thinks there's a tutorial about it, please, sent me a Pm.

If you read the first post, I don't have priiloader installed on my wii/sd card

Edit: I've, in this moment, came across an article on some life blog that says the following:

Interestingly, the Nintendo Wii has NO hard reset facility to be accessed through the machine or via buttons. The ONLY way to hard reset your Nintendo Wii is to UNPLUG it for 5 minutes. Once it is unplugged it resets itself and your badly behaving Nintendo Wii should be restored.
I know it looks stupid, but I won't turn my back on it. I'll give news however it turns out. see you in the second Edit.

    Edit 2: Nope...doesn't work...
