    No Signal to TV

    Hello

So i brought a WII off ebay and the guy sold it said that it just "doesnt read game discs"

I thought ok, ill mod it and play games from a USB

It turned up and nothing comes on, on the TV

I have a fully working WII with fully working cables, so i know its not them.

Today i swapped the DVD drive over - Nothing, same thing

I also swapped over the Bluetooth card - Nothing, same thing

What else could he possibly have done to this Wii, it doesnt look like its ever been opened before.

    Any ideas? Thanks

Hold in the reset button while turning on the Wii to see if Priiloader comes up. If it doesnt, I would be requesting my money back.

wifi module swap? Boot without dvd drive?

Get your money back, it is probably a lost cause.

Remove sd card, dvd media, gc stuff, usb stuff, boot the wii and check for boot2 bootmii.
1 flash from blue led drive light = no boot2 bootmii
2 flashes from blue led drive light = boot2 bootmii

Check the serial number with the boot2 bootmii compatibility list.

I would contact the seller and get my $ back.
If his ad said it was just a disc playing problem, you should have no problem getting your $ back.

That's what the eBay buyer protection is for.
