Final Exams here I come

As a 10th Grader here on the Island, school has been a grueling long but successful year. In the Caribbean, 10th grade is where you begin to be able to choose/drop subjects and get into the advanced part of each subject. Less subjects should mean less work? but it's more. I'm doing eleven subjects (third most in class), and it's been extremely tough balancing them. I've managed to pull through, for the past four years, I've been trying to get into the top 3 in class and maintain an average of over 87.0%. For the past years, I've been stuck at fourth and no more than 86% average.

However this year was different, maintained a second place position with an average of 87.4%.

That's just the introduction, now it's time for final exams for this school year. It's end of term exams. Where I'll have to sit 2 exam papers per subject. A long paper (2 hours long) and a short paper (1 hour long). I'd think I can say I'll have zero time to come on WiiHacks over the next three weeks. Man, I feel good coming into these exams but this isn't the reason why I'm making this post, I am making this blog post just to let you guys (and girls) know where I'll be if I seem to have disappeared for the next 3 weeks

School, how I don't miss it.

Anyway what do you intend to pursue after this is all over?

    Either:
    a) Some sort of Accountant
    b) Go into the Information Technology Field
Works both ways for me. Average 95+% in both.

Thank you gen3sf for the good luck.

That's pretty cool. I'm only in 8th grade, but some kid in my grade got a 4.0 GPA this year, for all the grading periods. For advanced classes at the middle school we only have Adv. English/Reading and Adv. Math. I'm in both of those. Adv. Math in 8th grade is basically all the 9th grade (high school) algebra courses in one. So, because I'm in Adv. Math, next year I get to take Geometry 1 right away, and because I'm in Geometry 1, they'll let me take Computer Programming 1! I want to have a career in something to do with computers, although I'm still not sure what. And also, because I can wrap up the Computer Programming courses before I'm a senior, I can go to a technical college as a senior (12th grade) for computers! I really can't wait. For me school is over on June 7th, and that day is a 1/2 day. I'm lucky I don't have big tests at the end of classes like I will next year. I haven't gotten any homework for a few days now.

Good luck on your finals! I hope you do well. Also, do you get a reward for being top in your class at all? and if so, what is it?

Thanks for the wishes again. Before I head into Final Exams next week, I'd just thought I'd say, got my Mid-Terms, placed 3rd with 84.0%. Overall rank should still be 2nd/3rd-ish.

Best wishes for your finals sonic. I wish I had had that type of deliberateness towards those studies back then. It might've saved me the few years of work I'm doing now. You've got a great head on your shoulders and I'm sure you'll tear it up. See you when you get back.
