I really appreciate everyone's kinds thoughts and prays. Riley came home last night after 3 days in the hospital. She spent her time there on iv antibiotics, which seem to have done a good job. She is in an excellent mood for the most part, very happy baby. She has a few follow up tests, so hopefully everything will look good. Thanks again.
It is a sad day for me. Friday morning my wife took our 8 month old baby girl to the doctor with a fever. She was diagnosed with a UTI, and a renal ultrasound was ordered. The ultrasound showed infection within one of her kidneys, and she was quickly admitted into the hospital. She is expected to be in the hospital for at least 3 days on iv antibiotics. The whole mess is scarring the hell out of me. The doctors have several follow up tests in mind, and it seems this could become a long term ordeal. ...
I have been running 5k every other day now for quite awhile, my time usually constant at around 35mins. Today I finally went for 10k, my time was 1:12mins. This is not fast for a 20 year old, but I am considerably older, so I was really pleased with it. (mainly because I survived) I run around the streets and parks where I live, and at the end of my 10k I raised both arms and gave a yell. Fortunately no one was around.
