I think you should ditch the font, it's hard to read and doesn't really fit at all :P

    Hi again!

I read your tutorial zero, it was great. I spent some time making these sigs and trying to make little tweaks to make them look better rather than rushing them and posting them here.

Both of my images feature the same render (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) and they have both been sharpened a lot because i wanted them to have a "canvas-y" look. (lol)

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I like the look of the top render, but I like the c4d you used on the bottom one. You also need to use a different font for your text mate lol.

You're getting better mate, that's plain to see. Next time try to blend the renders in to the background a bit. Get a small brush, and with the eraser
set the flow to 4, or 5, and lightly go around the outline of the render. something as simple as that can really make a tag.

Also, I'd like to see you start to use some stock backgrounds in your next tag. But well done, like I said you're getting better.

Thanks - I really appreciate the advice!

Just one question, where can I get good stock renders (as in backgrounds)? I use planetrenders but they don't seem to have many good stuff (or maybe I'm not looking hard enough lol).

I've also tried deviantart - it's not bad but if planetrenders is the same (more or less) I'll use that instead.
