I cannot update my argon 2

    Hello,

Can anyone please help me with this problem I installed teh new Argon 2 and I can play anything I want but if I try to run the update disc my Wii simply resets and starts again. I can see on my Wii screen that I inserted a gamecube disc but why I choose start is resets. I already downloaded the latest disc (v1.8 it does the same with v1.7) but nothing. My Wii had 3.4e software.
    Please help...

I've never myself witnessed any Trucha problems before, but this may be caused by the update disc being Trucha signed. Nintendo's 3.3 and 3.4 updates block the Trucha signing bug, rendering Trucha discs invalid.
You could try downgrading to 3.2 first, and then trying again. There's a guide by emperorofcanada in the faqs/guides section of the forum. If that's not you're problem, you should downgrade anyways to get Starfall running, which is one of the very rare ways to unbrick a Wii.

If nobody else tries to help, you might want to give downgrading a shot, otherwise, wait a while and see if a mod comes around to help.

If you've been doing your homework, you should probably know about the Argon2 guys' copyright issues (Argon replies)
Argon made truce with Twiizers a while ago, but with this kind of thing going on, I wouldn't trust the Argon2 guys releasing any quality products anytime soon.

Yeah, This whole Argon2 thing thats "Internet Up-datable" seems like another device that will never be popular, such as the Virtual Boy. :P
YES! I finally finished my Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas port for Mac! I'm so happy
