I just installed an argon 100% solderless chip.

The Serial # is LU569462783. I ordered it in the U.S. from Amazon.com


My question is what region will my Wii play. PAL or NTSC?

I inserted a PAL version of Top Spin 3, and a message popped up saying it was
going to update. I turned off the Wii when I saw that.

Are there any updates that I need to do to allow me to play games, if so
how do I do that.

stick with ntsc-usa games to be safe, you can run those and do updates safely. but updating from a pal game can brick the wii.
chips like d2pro9/wiikey2/wasabi v3 have a wii update blocker feature in the config disc, perhaps argon will follow
