I dont have dvdx and never have and all my backup games work fine. I just used EOC's guide in the tuts section.

Click Here To Register] I believe if you scrubb the game its just so you can put it in .rar form so its size will be smaller to download, transfer to hd for storage, burn multiple games on dvd to store them, etc... when you extract it , the game will be regular size.
