Bought wii , installed twlite hack , BHC . Still I was not able play the backup games.

Paid 30$ for mywiidownloads.com for softmodehack executed the below steps as they said.

Step 5. Go to Data Management then choose Channels then the SD Tab
Choose "Yes" to load boot.dol
You will then be at a screen with red, yellow, and white text.
Press "A" on the WiiMote and you will see a list beginning with WAD.
Step 6. Arrow down to DowngraderIOS35.dol (2nd from the bottom) must be connected to the internet.
Step 7. Choose downgrade IOS35 and then let it go
Step 8. Go down and run Wad Manager 1.4 by pressing "A" on WiiMote.
Step 9. Arrow down to IOS35.wad.
Step 10. Arrow down to BOOT2.DOL
Step 11. Arrow down to CIOS-249.wad
Step 12. Arrow up to gameplayer.wad

I was able to play one copied twlite princess game. No other game was playing.

SO bought drivekey. Before install I deleted all the channels and upgraded the wii to 4.1u , I belive when I bought it was 4.0.

I installed the drive key now.

Now I am not able to access the config menu from anywhere and Original game also not playing . But wii boots well , menu comes and able to access the internet.

Now I am confused . What should I do to make Drive key to work . Is the drivekey has the problem because I had softhack , but I have deleted all the channels and upgraded the wii by the settings , Should all the softhack shouls go away right ? Please help. I already spend more then 40 hours

For number one you serial is most likely a LU64+ so you can't downgrade your firmware. Second it probably was a bad choice upgrading to 4.1. Try and searching around the site to get Homebrew on a 4.1 wii and go further from there.

My wii serial is LU58232615 ,chip is GC2-01A & OC2-D2C and installed HBC using BBomb

I downloaded Gecko192 and put in new SD under apps folder . when I click on SD card in HBC as well in wii , it is not reading anything.

My aim is to make play ann backup games . Please help

Finaly installed Back up channel , browser.. it plays orginal from back up channel but oginal does not pllay from the disc channel. That is OK.

But still mu backed UP DVD-R does not play . What do i do next ?

Installed Gexko 1.9.2 , now DVD-R playing ,but how can I play from Disc channel , as well Is it playing because I have Drivekey or It is because of Gecko ?

Wii with D2C dvd-rom chip is quite a nice console u got.
Drivekey should work perfect, either b4 or after softmod.
to play latest game ISOs, additional (new) IOS must be pre-installed. Or, be loaded in with the guide of Gecko_1.9
apply Wii Update Manager to check the version of ur ISO (ie. 4.xu); and Scrubber to list IOSs in the game

with DriveKey, u play backups directly fm disc channel
usually, play backups HBC-->Gecko; unless u install Gecko as a channel via WADder. Strongly not suggesting u to install it.
Reality is the less the better.

p.s. playing latest backups with Gecko, it'll prompt u to install the neccessary IOS. Do as prompted. hv fun !

also, search the thread and read it for familiarity of Gecko applications, helping u to play out-of-region (PAL, JAP) games.
