Noob slowly figuring it out. Help Please

I have been doing some research into the correct mod chip to buy and my serial number is LEH2493XXXX and I have found that it is drive GC2-D2E which could be with or with out black glue covering. This thread shows that wasabi is my best option, im just a little confused between the dx and zero options. I do not want to solder the console and want an option that is going to be pretty easy to manage when in, as all i want to do is play my back ups so discs dont get stratched. Can anyone please help?

when you don`t want the chip solder in than is the wasabi dx a good option.

u need to go and research the dx and zero. neither of them require soldering, but both offer different features. do your homework and always check for compatibility with your wii.
