Which modchip for my Wii

Hi , this is my very first post here and I still have a dilema which way to go, softmod or modchip.

My Wii serial number starts with LEF1xxx and system menu is 4.0E. Please advise, which modchip I can use , or which method of softmod?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Not being funny but I found that just entering the words...

Code:
wii mod chip serial number checker
...brought up loads of sites that enabled me to check this. I'm surprised you haven't come across these things in your research.

check here to see what chipset u have: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
u didnt give enough of the serial for me to see what exact chipset but it seems u have a semi older one. so if you want to go with a chip, get a wasabi dx w/clip so u can use it as a wasabi zero. after u verify ur chipset look under the wasabi zero compatibility here: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. it should be compatible though.
thats my recommendation, just get a chip, and the best chip out there right now is the wasabi dx used as a wasabi zero. if u want to consider softmodding then refer to this:

but before u attempt softmodding do alot of reading and learning so u know what ur doing, because u see alot of people on here asking for help cuz they screwed up their wii cuz they arent smart enough to softmod. just do your homework.
