Just ordered drivekey from foundmy.com I should get it in the next few days and I will write up a quick review after playing with it for a few days.

Make sure to compare loading speeds between with Drivekey and without Drivekey.
The 3x loading speed difference is the biggest flaw with 4th gen chips; GC audio can be patched with Starfall

I got a chip and installed it but the damn drive kept spinning. Put the serial number on the drivekey website and its from the first batch. So I RMAd it. Just waiting to get a new one. I did play mario kart with it and it seemed to work fine. I couldn't tell a difference in speed. I guese its when your playing FMV...

Whats the point of buying a chip when softmod works perfectly fine?

You got your chip in 5 days? I ordered from foundmy on the 9th and I am still waiting for my chip. Are you in the USA?

Softmod does not work perfectly fine.

Softmods are:
-dangerous
-detectable by Ninty
-dangerous
-buggy
-dangerous
-crashes on many games
-dangerous
-requires lots of maintnence to make sure it works with new games

And did I mention you can easily brick your Wii with a softmod?

Works perfectly fine for me i haven't had a problem on 5 wiis i have softmodded maybe you have no idea what you are doing?

Detectable how? can you please provide more information and provide proof that someone has been caught by Nintendo.

I have yet to see a crash on all five wiis even with smash bros ....

And the chips do not need the new IOS / CIOS?

Updating is just a touch of a button anyway and it isn't buggy ... please read some more or atleast try it out and you'll see you just wasted money.

how about hassle-free..maintenance -free...simple installation...don't need to read up and learn about loaders...Hb....worry about wii updates...no bricking...

simple 2 minute install and play away.....no need to learn or read anything...etc...etc

although Ideally would be modchip and HBC with wad installer
