I have followed the instructions but still no luck. I soldered the F points. I get a red light for a second when I first power on the wii and then a solid green light on the wasabi but I get nothing at all from the dvd drive. Doesnt spin and I cant eject the disk.

If I remove the Chip and reconnect everything then it runs fine. If I reattach the chip I get the same solid green with an unresponsive drive. could it be a poor contact through the F points? I have already soldered twice and im trying not to damage the drives pcb : Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Have you solder the Regional point(1, 2 on your chip) that reflects your wii regional?

1st picture, If your WII was purchased in USA, or Canada, you need to bridge 1 on your chip.

Just wondered... Kinda worries me.. Getting a clip tomorrow, and i see problems with wasabi 2 on a clip... (Currently owned (by my son) D2C, NOT D2C2)
